WSUS on Windows 2008 R2 installation error

You can not install the WSUS role on Windows Sever 2008 R2, with the indication of non-available updates, then probably a simple reason: The server applies the updates from the WSUS server is not currently available.

Solution: The Group Policy change accordingly and medium "gpupdate / force" to enforce. The role had to be installed now.

How can I determine the cause and download updates from the WSUS server?

Prompt to start the WSUS client computer and type:

wuauclt.exe /detectnow
